The beginning.

The White Standard starts with the simplest possible proposition: make the white T-shirt worth keeping. 001 is the result of defining every important part of that proposition before anything else.

A white T-shirt leaves nowhere for poor decisions to hide.

Colour becomes almost irrelevant. What remains is fabric, fit, proportion, construction and finish.

That is why 001 is being developed from the material outward—not simply designed and then manufactured.

The objective is a T-shirt with a dry-soft handfeel, a smooth surface, substantial body and high opacity while remaining comfortable enough to become an everyday essential.

001 should feel intentional rather than oversized for the sake of fashion or tight for the sake of silhouette. The final block will be built around clean proportions, comfortable movement and a premium everyday profile.

About The White Standard

A brand built around one colour.

The White Standard exists to explore how far one garment can be refined.

Instead of building a wardrobe of endless colours and seasonal variations, the idea begins with restraint: white, made exceptionally well.

001 is the first expression of that philosophy. The ambition is not simply to sell white T-shirts, but to establish a recognisable standard for what a white T-shirt can be.
